Louis Hellman 

Louis Hellman MBE is an acclaimed British architect, architectural cartoonist, illustrator, author, and educator whose work has had a lasting impact on both the architecture profession and visual culture. Widely regarded as one of the world's leading architectural cartoonists, Hellman has spent six decades combining architectural expertise with sharp observation, humour, and artistic talent to create images and drawings that capture the personalities, ideas, and debates that shape the architectural world and the built environment.

He is best known for his distinctive architecture cartoons and his celebrated Archi-têtes series, a unique body of work in which renowned architects are caricatured in the style of their own buildings. These imaginative portraits have become an important visual record of modern architecture, portraying some of the most influential architects of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries through a combination of architectural analysis, wit, and artistic interpretation. The series has been exhibited internationally and is recognised by architects, students, and design enthusiasts around the world.

Since beginning his publishing career in 1967, Hellman’s cartoons, illustrations, and inventive drawings have appeared in a wide range of newspapers, magazines, journals, and architectural publications.
